All time favorite thrillers and mysteries
Thriller/mystery novels are my absolute favorite genre of books. Thrillers are so adictive! I even went a couple of years where I only read thrillers and mysteries, until I forced myself to branch out to other genres. Needless to say, they are still my go to genre.
This list was a hard one to come up with. Out of the hundreds of books that I've read in the thriller/mystery genre it is so hard to pinpoint my absolute favorites. There are so many thrillers/mysteries that I absolutely love. After much internal debate I finally narrowed it down to my absolute favorites. This list is compiled of stories that stand out from the rest with unforgettable story lines, plots, characters and of course twists. These are the books that I always have and always will recommend to others. Some of these are so good and are by the same author, that I had to list them together.
So here is my list(in no particular order) of all time favorite thriller/mystery novels:
- Gone Girl, Dark Places, and Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn
- In The Woods by Tana French
- In A Dark Dark Wood and The Death of Mrs. Westaway by Ruth Ware
- And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
- The 7.5 Deaths Of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
- The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sagar
- Before I Go To Sleep by SJ Watson
- Pretty Girls by Karin Slaughter
- His & Hers and Sometimes I Lie By Alice Feeney
- The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins
- Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
- The Family Upstairs and Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell
- The Butterfly Garden by Dot Hutchinson
Did your favorite make the list?
